Can I use the Veeam to replace the arcserve and backup exec totally? Is it fully support on veeam? backup to tape? backup exec sql agent?

Hello Edwin,

Yes Veeam has the ability to backup both physical and virtual workloads, and offload this to Tape/cloud/tiered storage devices. Free trials are available if you register on the Veeam website, and there is a plenty or literature to help you on your way. Veeam has lots of application integration, Exchange/SQL/Sharepoint/ORACLE/etc.

Additionally you can contact a Veeam reseller to help you with this process. Most can offer trials or demonstrations of these products.

Hope this helps

Cheers

In all honesty I've not huge experience in the other two products

Perhaps list your requirements, and we can show what Veeam can do for you.

Cheers
