Install problem on debian

Post by cxwsrei »

Hi all
I try to install agent for linux.
1) dpkg -i ./veeam-release* was successful
2) apt-get install veeam fails . Response : package not found.

Step 1) added abviously directory /etc/apt/sources.list.d
there file veeam.list has been added. Content : "deb [arch=amd64] http://repository.veeam.com/backup/linu ... ian/x86_64 noname veeam"

When I try
time wget -q -O - repository.veeam.com/backup/linux/agent/dpkg/debian/x86_64 \ | sed -e 's/.*Current IP Address: //' -e 's/<.*$//'
I get
real 0m0.003s
user 0m0.004s
sys 0m0.000s

Seems to work from my point of view.
Nevertheless apt-get cannot find package "veeam".
Any ideas ?

Hi Niels
apt-get update works (from my point of view) - responds as following :

root@dewes0134:/etc/apt/sources.list.d# apt-get update veeam

And what do you get if you try apt-get install veeam now?

I notice you have a GPG issue but I don't know if it related to our repo or not.
