Full VM Restore would restore to Last Available Logs
i have observed that when recovering full vm in oracle database, it recover till last backup and after that backups logs are not applied. to apply those logs use veeam explorer for oracle which do restoring database from scratch. full vm restore should restore till last available log in the backup.

Re: Full VM Restore would restore to Last Available Logs
Image-level backup (backup job) captures a state of VM at the time of backup. VM restore brings VM back to this state.
In the meantime, logs are saved by different (though dependent) job. Therefore, different type of restore is needed.
Thanks.

Hi Muhammad, do you mean the fact that the VM itself is restored first and then the entire database is restored again during point-in-time restore with Veeam Explorer for Oracle?

This is how it was designed and currently works.
