Hi all
I´m trying to set up a volume backup of system volume C: by win agent 2.0 on a server 2016.
This server is also the current veeam B&R9.5 backup server.
Scale out repository of this BR9.5 server is on drive D:
(Selective) file backups of drive D: are running.
But we also like to have a local backup of C:
It fails with the following message(s):
6/7/2017 1:56:31 PM :: Error: The device is not ready.
Asynchronous read operation failed Failed to upload disk.
Agent failed to process method {DataTransfer.SyncDisk}.
Exception from server: The device is not ready.
Asynchronous read operation failed Unable to retrieve next block transmission command.
Number of already processed blocks: [0]. Failed to download disk.
Any idea what could be the problem ?
Bytheway : I ran already a volume C: backup of our old backup server which is installed on Win Server 2012 successfully.
Could it be caused by Win Server 2016 ?

Re: Agent fails on Volume Backup of C: in Server 2016
Hi cxwsrei,
Config looks ok. Please check with Veeam Support regarding the issue in the backup log and do not forget to post the case ID here. Thanks.
