VAL does not have backup to Cloud Connect built-in. However, if you backup to a Veeam Backup & Replication repository, you can then use a backup copy job to copy the backup to a Cloud Connect repository.

Is there an Eta for this feature? Seems like this would be in high demand.

Hi,

It's safe to say that Backup to CC support will be introduced this year.

Thanks

Yes, but if one has mixed environment with multiple clients which have VPS scattered around the globe, then this approach is really hard to maintain. (impossible without VPN at the moment).
It's very unpractical and costly to setup Windows host with VBR + VPN for such clients - for each one.

VCC is needed, but I guess you will also make things difficult with minimum 5 workstations per client licensing... Unfortunately, I've started looking for alternatives yesterday because of that limitation.

As mentioned CC support will be added this year to resolve the point. In regards to licensing, if they have multiple devices around the world I don't think the minimim amount required is an issue?

I'm talking about multiple clients with 1-n devices.

Hi,

Any news on ETA for v2 allready? Were on our way introducing CC to our Customers at the moment.
CC for Standalone Linux hosts and non-vmware/hyper-v VMs in foreign Datacenters would be sweet.

i'd like to chime in to say this is a huge feature that we're still waiting for to get a customer over to veeam. Once we get cloud connect support, we'll get quite a few new deployements

Linux Agent 2.0 was released 12/18/17. I have not yet tested it, but the release notes look promising!

If you want to store your data in the cloud, you can connect to a Veeam Cloud Connect service provider (SP) and
create Veeam Agent backups in a cloud repository.
IMPORTANT!
You can create Veeam Agent backups in a cloud repository if the SP backup server runs Veeam Backup &
Replication 9.5 Update 3.
