Monitoring selected ESXi hosts only in VCenter ?

Post by albertwt »

Hi All,

I'd like to monitor only specific ESXi hosts only in my VCenter server that is now monitored using Veeam ONE.
how can I select only certain ESXi hosts not entirely ?

The reason I'm doing this is because I have just added 2x new ESXi hosts to the VCenter but Veeam ONE is running out of socket license due to older ESXi hosts that are still running test & dev VMs in teh same VCenter.

Hi Albert,

Yes, you can create exclusion rules to disable monitoring of unnecessary hosts. Thanks!

By the way, starting from v9.5 you can also choose metrics to monitor in advanced options.
