Hello everyone
I got a vSphere 6.0 and i installed a VEEAM B&R on a VM, i want to know if my veeam server can backup up data on a HP StoreEver 1/8 G2.

Can you please clarify your request? Do you ask if Veeam backup server can use this tape library to offload data? Do you have any issues configuring it?

We have various installation with 1/8 G2 Autoloader - never had problems to use them with veeam

Maybe important, if you are planning to connect via pass-through to the VM (tape connected physically to ESXi), this is not supported:

However, the tape library can be connected to another server, it does not need to be connected to the backup server (but can be). We do support a concept of tape servers:
