Feature Request - Backup to a Secondary Location

Hi all,

I am posting this feature request on behalf of a customer.

The customer is currently using the Agent to backup to a Cloud Connect repository but wishes to be able to backup/replicate to a secondary location as well. For example, a USB drive. The example that customer used was StorageCraft's ImageManager.

Having to purchase a Backup & Replication license, in order to be able to use a Copy job, is hard to justify. The customer wishes to use the Agent but not having the ability to utilise a secondary location is a deal-breaker.

Is anyone able to identify an alternative/workaround, if one exists?

If not, I appreciate you taking the time to review the above request.

First: Welcome to the forums!

Actually, he does not need to purchase a Veeam B&R license. This can be done with the free version also, he just needs to "enable" the full functionality. It is described here: https://www.virtualtothecore.com/en/use ... s-backups/

PS: What I forgot to mention. Creating multiple jobs is a feature request that is heard a lot lately, so we will consider your post also as a vote for that functionality .

We can confirm that this process does work. We had to use it in a couple of case but it is a little bit of a pain if you want to make a quick change to a backup config. Guess something is better then nothing sometimes...
