Limit used network bandwidth

Hi all,

I'm using VAW with a VB&R repository as target. My laptop is connected to LAN via a 100Mbit and when VAW is backing up my laptop it is saturating the link completely. Normally I shouldn't recognize it but we use Citrix XenApp as the main application delivery and there's a high delay within the session. A ping to any ip has a latency of 1,5 seconds. As stated here I cannot use throttling policies in VB&R for VAW but is there any chance to limit the used bandwidth for backup? If not, it would be a great improvement for future versions.

Hello Daniel,

It’s currently not possible to throttle the connection usage on client side but you can do that at VBR or Veeam Cloud Connect side. Thanks for sharing the request – it’s noted and added to the list!

Check Network Traffic Throttling Rules - they apply to all connected agents.
