Today I tried running an offsite backup copy job for a 400GB VM across our new 100MB MPLS connection to our DR Site, it's currently running but after 45 min its not even at 1% having only transferred 1.2GB and read 2.4GB. If you do the math it's going to take way too long. I don't want to be running this during production hours.
Is there a way to bring backup job data to my DR site, import it into the repository there and have the backup copy jobs just copy the changes? Or would it have to read the data from the production site which again would take too long? I was hoping to be able to do replicas but clearly 100MB is not fast enough to do anything
