Long backup job

Post by Sk1310 »

Hi,

I have a 14TB File server, that his been running for about 16 hours now, with only 26% through (3.7 TB). Speeds are ranging from 17mbps to 284mpbs (very sporadic). I have backup and replication installed on my storage cisco box, with windows on it. The file server is a virtual box within VSphere. I have a virtual proxy server on the same host as the file server I am backing up. What am I doing wrong? Anything? This is the initial backup of the large file server.

Bottleneck is network (I have it set to automatic; We have a 10gb connection)
Processing Rate: 62 MB/s
Processed: 3.8 TB
Read: 3,4 TB
Transferred 2.6 TB (1.3x)
6/26/2017 6:16:55 PM :: Hard disk 3 (14.0 TB) 3.4 TB read at 62 MB/s [CBT]

What about about full bottleneck statistics (the one with percent distribution that can be found in job session)?
