Restoring a DC that also is a CA
If I need to restore a domain controller that is also a certificate authority are there any gotcha's I should look out for?

Re: Restoring a DC that also is a CA
Hi _SC_
Not really, if you restore the entire DC, you obviously are going to need to take the decision to do an authoritative or non-authoritative restore. The CA itself is not a problem. The only thing that I can remember from older days was that after the restore, I needed to restart IIS and the services for it because they stopped as they wanted to come live before AD could get himself in sync. But that is it.
