REFS, Windows 2016 and RAM

Hi All,

We have Hp G8 Microservers backup repo's around the place with 16tb of REFS 64K disks and 4GB of ram (1 has . Lately they have all started locking up at random intervals. From my googling it seems that the issue is REFS with a low amount of RAM locks up on a delete operation?. I read there was a patch to fix it but haven't been able to find one.
Most of the threads I have seem suggest more ram should fix it but I haven't found anyone who had the issue that had reported back it being resolved after increasing ram.

Has anyone ran into similar issues and resolved it by simply throwing more ram at the servers?

Adding more RAM to my ReFS repo server stopped the lockups for me. I gave it 100GB but it only ever takes 20gb, and only in spikes. typically it will be 12GB under load. That particular server has a 10TB repo.
