Azure and Veeam Best Practice

Post by Daithi »

Hi all,

Could anybody help with some guidance on Veeam Cloud Connect and Azure?

I've setup an Azure VM. I'm using Veeam Cloud Connect and backup copy job. The processing rate is around 30-40 MB/s. The bottleneck is the target. Is there anything I should be looking at to improve performance? Is there any minimum specs for how the Azure VM should be configured?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Bottleneck target means the target storage disk performance, so you should look into this side of things. System requirements to this VM are similar to general requirements to the repository server.

Daithi-
Depending on the VM size you chose you're limited in the max IOPS, what size were you testing on?
