OneDrive for Business / SharePoint 365 Backup and Roademap

Hi

I'm looking for ways to manage and backup Office 365 Services (OneDrive for Business and SharePoint 365).
I saw Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 but this only include E-Mails.

Is there some Roadmap for Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365?
I had some infos about the Veeam Backup & Replication Version 10 will include this features.

Hi Julian,

I am not sure where you got that information (but you can always PM me if you know from where it came).

What is happening at this moment is that we are investigating support for OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online. There is already a lot of talk about this on these forums and we are certainly aware of the need for these services. I can't give you or promise you any timeline at this point in time.

what important is for us, at this moment, is prioritization. Could you tell us what you would prefer to be supported first (and maybe also why )?

I'll be in favor of either. I use a competing service that _does_ backup emails and OneDrive but I'd much prefer to have those backups on my own disks. So if the price is right (in the future) I'd be happy to stop using that other service in favor of a Veeam solution. (But I would like to see integration with B&R rather than a standalone program.)

For the integration, do you mean you want to see the UI integrated into B&R? Or are you seeking for more integration. I am always happy to get feedback!

Back at VeeamON in May we announced OneDrive and SharePoint Online support is planned for our v2.0 release.

No release date set. We are working on it. SP and OneDrive are the two major functionalities that we want included in that release, but we are also monitoring these forums (and talking to customers) on what else is needed. Depending on that list we will be able to set a target date later on

At this moment we are running a technical preview with select customers so things are coming together. Both SPO and OneDrive for Business support is included in that technical preview
