Total amount of retained data in Veeam

Post by Zlatan Andreev »

Hello All,

I have a request to extract information regarding all processed data in Veeam for the past 3 months.

Does anybody know if it is possible - be it backup job by backup job, a consolidated number for backup jobs or tape jobs, or in general for ALL jobs that ran for the past 3 months (or preferably on a monthly basis)

Thanks in advance

Hi Zlatan and welcome to the community!

The information can be retrieved by using Veeam ONE report called Backup Job Historical Info. Thanks!

First of all - thanks for the reply. This looks like the exact thing I am looking for.

Quick question - Veeam ONE does not come with the standard Veeam installation, correct ?

That's correct, you can follow the link and download Veeam ONE Free Edition. Thanks!

But the free edition does not report on Veeam Backup & Replication, only VMware & Hyper-V, so it would not have the Backup Job Historical Information report.

Zlatan if you upgrade from Veeam Backup & Replication to Veeam Availability Suite you will get Veeam ONE with full capabilities. You can also download a fully-functional 30-day trial of Veeam ONE to get an idea of the reporting capabilities.
