automatic license revoking

Post by stevil »

Hi, I know veeam will automatically license any host/sockets but will it also revoke the license if all the VMs in a job have been moved to another host? i.e. lets say we have 10 VMs that we replicate that are all sat on one host in a cluster. If all those VMs were moved to another host would we have to manually revoke the license from the original host?

Correct, you will need to manually revoke the license. Thanks.

Is there any way to automate this on a regular basis? maybe using powershell?

Currently you cannot revoke license via PowerShell. Thanks.
