feature request - infrastructure overview via pdf
Using veeam one reporter I have found the report "infrastructure overview (visio)" which generates a report that can be opend via microsoft's visio. So far so good but in our case we need this report approx. 2 times a year and therefore we won't purchase a visio license. In our case it would be enough if we could generate this report in pdf format (or any other format which can be opened with free software) and to get a graphical overview of our infrastructur (because there are some reports which show that same data but only in a grid and not visualized).

Hi Michael,
Visio reports propose drill-down reports, so saving in .pdf will cut this functionality.
By the way, there are number of free Visio read-only tools, including Internet Explorer.

Re: feature request - infrastructure overview via pdf
Hi Nikita,
thanks for this information. Sounds good, if I can open reports in Internet Explorer, it should result in what I exactly need. But now I don't know how to achieve this since Veeam ONE generates .vmr (veeam report viewer document) files which will be opened via veeam report viewer and automatically in Visio. How can I configure report viewer to open the file in IE?

Hi Michael, indeed Veeam Report Viewer requires Visio and free analog doesn`t help. I guess unlicensed Visio may work as without license it works in read-only mode.
However, I`ve got your request, I will discuss adding more options in next product versions.
Thanks!
