backup proxy resource not available

Trying to run 2 backups at the same time, but the second job says ‘resource not available’ for the backup proxy. I don’t have a dedicated backup proxy, it should just be using the B&R server. I have a completely separate B&R server that runs parallel jobs with no issues. Thx

How many concurrent tasks do you have configured on the backup proxy in question?

we have not changed any settings regarding the proxy. Isn't the default 4?

ok, found the setting....default is 2 & i have changed it to 4.

But, when it was set to 2, my second job took 20 minutes before the 2nd job started. Resources on the B&R server were not taxed during this time.

One task is a VM disk, so depending on the number of disks processed by the first job, all the available slots could be occupied.
