Hi,
Support ID: 02434767
I'm trying to configure a backup job in the B&R console.
The server in question only needs backup of some of its volumes. When trying to add the VG in the console i get "Specified path is invalid", so it probably expects a path matching ^/.*
The documentation states: "For LVM volumes, type the name of the LVM volume group whose volumes you want to back up, for example: vg."
So something went wrong between the documentation and the actual code.
BR,
René

Re: VAL: Unable to add LVM objects to backup in B&R
Hi,
There was a mistake in User Guide - backup of VGs as a whole is not supported, you need to specify LVs that constitute the group separately. The guide will be fixed shortly.
Thanks

Consider it a feature request then
Specifying a VG and then Veeam automagically selecting all LVs underneath that VG.

René
