vCenter 6.5 Update 1d (2017-12-19)
hi folks,
most people are at home so i have time to perform some updates: just finished with Veeam's Update3 (no issues yet) and i'd like to refresh my VCSA.
I noticed that the last version has been released on 19th so i guess i'd be a very early adopter if i proceed today.
Has anyone (maybe someone having a lab/test environment) or Veeam QA already tried the 9.5U3/6.5U1d combination?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Alessandro, I've asked around, our QA haven't yet deployed this update in the lab, but plan to do this next week. I will share if they see any issues.

I updated my VCSA at home yesterday to Update 1d from 12/29 and also my host using the latest HPE customized Update 1 imagine from 11/30. My backups finished without any problems last night though one Linux VM complained that vmtools isn't running. I probably need to update the tools since I upgraded the host.

Re: vCenter 6.5 Update 1d (2017-12-19)
hi, yesterday i've updated one of my VCSA up to 6.5U1d.
No (new) issues with that.
I'm still waiting to update the ESXi to the same version: it seems the iusses causing PSOD are finally resolved. I expect to read about that in next monday's "Word from Gostev"
P.S.: it seems that yesterday they have released the esxi patch for Meltdown&Spectre

I patched mine up on the 3rd as I was having some issues with the web server on it. Running perfectly since.

Yup, all new vcenter and esxi builds for Meltdown fixes.

Veeam testing would be great, thanks.
