Not seeing additional functionality

Post by stewy »

I must be missing something.
Upgraded B&R to 9.5u3 and Agents to 2.1, but see no additional functionality for controlling the agents via the B&R console.
Do the jobs need to be removed and recreated?

Thanks.

Playing around... just found protection groups.
Sorry, rather expected to see something different from the agent itself since it was already in the B&R console.

Careful, as soon as you add the Agents to a protection group it takes them over and basically clears the config locally. You have to completely start over when you want to manage them from B&R. I was disappointed with the way they tied them in.

Yep, noticed that. Thankfully i only had a couple, and removing the jobs still left the backups available to access.

Stewy,

Just for your information: The specific guide for agent management can be found here: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... tml?ver=95

Cheers
