VAW 2.1 SQL Express Transaction Logs
Does VAW 2.1 prune its own SQL transaction logs?

Re: VAW 2.1 SQL Express Transaction Logs
Hi nitramd,
For Veeam Agent for Windows running free/workstation edition: truncation is not performed when agent is installed on workstation operating system (for example Windows 10). For agent installed on server operating system (i.e. Windows Server) truncation is performed by default.
For Veeam Agent for Windows running server edition transaction log processing can be controlled via Application-aware processing job settings.

Hi Dima.
Thank you for your response.
A related question on VAW server edition: will the server edition automatically prune its own transaction logs, i.e. Application aware processing is not checked?

nitramd,
Actually, VAW database run in Simple mode, so truncation is not required at all.
