Hi guys!
One question, on which I can't find answer.
If you are doing just file level backup of some folders on workstation (C:\Users\username\documents for example) with workstation agent managed by backup server, and save it on some network shared folder.
How you restore those files in case of reinstallation of that PC or total loss of PC (new SID, computer name etc.)?

Re: Win workstation file restore on reinstalled/new PC
Hi Igor and welcome to community!
Restore can be accomplished either from VBR Server or from another agent with an access to the share. Once you reinstall the server, type it's IP or DNS name and provide the credentials.
Thanks!

Thank you!
That means that if you have one shared folder which use several users (have credentials for that folder provided to agent from backup admin during setup), other users can also take that data?
