Hyper-V Copy Job backup to a Cloud Connect Proxy on VMware ?

Hi all,

It is certainly an odd question but I wonder if it would be possible to secure Veeam backup from a Hyper-V infrastructure to a Cloud Connect provider that is running Veeam on VMware or has he to run Veeam proxies on Hyper-V as well ?
If not, is it a future feature or a totally brand new consideration ?

If all you're doing is sending backups to Cloud Connect, what the provider runs is irrelevant. It only matters if you're going to use Veeam replication because then the hypervisors have to match.
