Question concerning restoration

Post by nemesis-fr »

Hello everyone,

I have a question concerning the restauration of my vms.

Currently all of my vm are save to a distant nas but if one day the physical server crash (with veems), how can i restaure all my vm to a new server ?

Thank for your reply and have a good day.

You can spin up a new Veeam backup server, import these backups to the console and run the restore. Alternatively, there is a small utility named "extract.exe" that can restore VM files in case of the DR. Hope this helps!

DR is acronym of Disaster Recovery. Thanks!
