Hello,
Is it possible to set folder copy with retention period last 14 days, including increment and deduplication method?
For example, folder which is not in virtual machine.
I set File Job, but this is only File copy.
For example, I have simple environment, Host server which is Hyper-V hypervisor, and File server at the same time.
Also beside that I have installed two VMs, AD With DC, and Exchange server.
Plan is to do completely backup these VMs, but also I want to backup user profiles, and files from file server which is installed on Hyper-V host.
Regards,
Davor

Re: File and folder backup from host
Hi Ceman,
You can use the Veeam agent for Microsoft Windows on your hosts. This is a supported configuration and you could also use your VBR repository as a target.
Cheers
Mike

Re: File and folder backup from host
Hi Mike,
thx for response.
I already found solution for Veeam Agent, and tried free and licensed version.
My next question is, I can't see option, is it possible to do file backup to cloud connect and local at the same time?
While configuring Agent, I can only see that I can chose only one option.

Hi,
You can use a workaround described in the blog post by Luca in the desired scenario with the two destinations. Thanks!
