Veeam Cloud Connect

Hi All,

I am quite new to veeam.

I have used Backup and replication for all vms for in house backup to Nass box
I am looking into cloud connect using a service provider.

If I was to restore from there service providers I know it depends on bandwidth but looks like it would take 28-32 hours to restore the VM's (*4) total size 1.6TB??

Is there any other quicker ways for the offsite

Regardless of target type bandwidth will still be a definitive factor in restore time, unless you archive data to, say, rotated drives attached locally. Thanks.

Besides what Vladimir says, did you talk to your local provider? Maybe they have additional services to bring data on removable disks in case of a disaster? (Most restores you will do will be files statistically speaking).

i agree with Mike, working with many Veeam service providers I can confirm that many offer restore options "offline" by saving backups to removable media and sending those media via courier to their customer. The same process is used for the initial seed. Talk with your provider and see which options they have.

We are Service Provider and developing DRaaS on Veeam Cloud Connect.

I have a question about NEA deployment restrictions. On this page it says that NEA cannot be deployed on vSAN storage https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... l?ver=95u4

Does it still apply for VCC 9.5 U4?

Where this limitations come from technical side?

Yes, that is still a restriction... I don't know the reason behind it though
