Network segmentation and Agents

Post by martin_zidu »

Hello,

we have found out one issue in one of locations where we would like to enroll Veeam Agents project.

We have setup environment in VB&R as in other locations, but we are not able to deploy agents since we get error, that network path of machine was not found.

I think that there is issue, that in that location we had started simoltaneously VLAN segmentation project, so Veeam Server possible doesn´t see to other VLANs.

Can you please provide me with an information which ports (in/out) needs to be opened in order to establish communication from VB&R to machines and vice versa from machines to VB&R?

Thanks a lot

Martin

Hello Martin.

Agent machine should be reachable from Veeam B&R server and VBR machine name should be resolvable from the agent side, otherwise it wont work. Please check this Help Center article - Used Ports for port requirements.
