767 mailboxes not licensed after veeam update

Post by MarksJHF »

Dear,

after updating the Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 to version 1.5.0.1099 the backup job that i am using wont backup all the mailboxes anymore.
when the job starts it finds 184 mailboxes and for the other mailboxes it will say 767 mailboxes not licensed.

In the bottom left of the Veeam software it says Licenses Uses 797.
I tried editing the job and selecting all the mailboxes it should backup but still it wont do more then 184 mailboxes.

any ideas what might cause this issue?

with kind regards

Mark

Most probably something went wrong, and it has detected many of your mailboxes as NEW and maintains the 797 licenses as old or something.

Please create a support call and post the case ID (and the outcome) after troubleshooting with support here. I am not 100 percent certain but I think I have seen this before and support was able to fix it (or at least something similar)

Keep us informed
Thanks

Veeam Support - Case # 02687545

after some remote support we changed the following service Veeam.Archiver.RESTful.Service to start automaticly (delayed start ) and running with local system account
the service was disabled.

after that we ran the job again

The Issue has bin solved.

the following changes have bin implemented :
change the number of treads on the proxy from 64 to 32. Here is how to modify the proxy: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... tml?ver=15
Proxy ID has not been properly reformed during Veeam Backup for Office 365 upgrade from version 1.0 to 1.5
https://www.veeam.com/kb2364

As you can see the issue is coming from the proxy's credentials. Please, under Specify credentials to connect to the proxy server specified a local admin account instead of Jeugdhulp\BCK01$
Refer to this article if needed: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... tml?ver=15

The Backup is working fine now and all mailboxes are being backupped again.
thanks for all the support

With kind regards
