VBRCatalog\Index\Machines folder is growing

Post by naghmeh »

Hi,

Is there anyway to set the setting to delete old files in this folder?
It is growing in C:\ Drive and C:\ has a few free space.

What is the solution?

Thanks!

Hi, if you are talking about your Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager server, then it has a setting for catalog data retention (3 years by default). If you are talking about Veeam Backup proxy server, then files are deleted automatically as they are synced over to global catalog on Enterprise Manager server. Thanks!

Thanks.

How can we change the retention policy to few months or weeks?

Our 72 GB drive is almost full.

You just lower the default value in the corresponding UI control in Enterprise Manager configuration... not sure I understand your question?

I have set it to 2 months instead of 36 months(default). but C:\ is still growing and no file/folder has been deleted yet.
C:\ drive is getting full.

any idea?

Thanks
