Auto shutdown after back-up but started based on events

Is there a possibility to let the Veeam Agent backup start when the back-up media is connected but shutdown the pc after the back-up?

Hello Tom.

This option is not available in the UI, but you can create a custom scheduled task using the VAW cmd commands, then add the shutdown command and add such task to windows task scheduler.

Yes you can start a veeam back-up and shutdown the pc using scripting but how can I start the back-up when a disk is plugged in?
Can you give an example?
