After starting an Agent Backup Job in Veeam Backup and Replication, which backups the drive C: on volume level of the Windows Server 2016 Hyper-V host, first lets wait the job for rescanning it, but then aborts it entirely, because the host needs to be rescanned. Rescanning the host via the backup infractructure view/Managed Server/Microsoft Windows/Server Name (Rescan), does not resolve the issue.
Which steps needs to be proceeded?

Many thanks Dima for your input, I might do one further test on a Windows Server 2012 R2 host, and then I will submit a support case, according to your advice
