merge vbk and vib files

Hello,

My Backup Copy Job make a vbk and some (30) vib files. So far so good.
Now we have change the Server to a new Model (New Installation), and we have forgotten to merge this files.

How I can merge this files without the existing server?

Create a new job on the new backup server, map it to the left backup files, shorten retention to whatever value you want to and execute the job.

During initial run the job will merge the restore points.

Sorry, we don't changed Backup Server. We Changed one of the Server which was backuped with Veeam.

Now want store the Backup for archival purporses. Can I migrate the vib File in the VBK file without the old Server on with the Backup based.

May be by CLI.

You can create additional backup copy job, using existing backup copy job as its source, and let it extract restore point for certain VM. How, this will do it only for the latest restore point, not all ones. Thanks.

Thanks for the Answers, but I get the following massages. Mention the Server SRVAMAG is a new installation, old one has the same name.

Message from veeam.
18.06.2018 04:18:40 :: No restore points found

18.06.2018 04:18:41 :: SRVAMAG is no longer processed by this job. Make sure this change is intentional.

Maybe an important point. It is / was a backup Copy Job from Windows Agent Machine (physicaly Maschine).

How old is the latest restore point? And what sync interval is set for new backup copy job?
