Virtual Lab SureBackup error

Post by vCommunicator »

Testing a SureBackup after installing VirtualLab, only one of the three VMs are backed up successfully. For the two other servers I get an error: “Error: Connection with Hyper-V mount agent was lost”. The Veeam solution is on top of Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V host.

Many thanks for your inputs.

Hi,

What is your version of VBR? Also, have you tried to run SureBackup jobs separately, one per each VM? Mu guess is that the problem might be related to the workload the mount server experiences when all three VMs are tested simultaneously.

Thanks

Hi and many thanks for your input.
The VBR version is 9.5.0.1536.
If I understand you correctly, you think, that a SureBackup Job for multiple VMs at the same time is not recommended.
I now test a serial scenario and will give you my news.

Not exactly. Concurrent test of multiple VMs is totally supported, however my idea was to check if the issue that you've encountered has anything to do with the load on mount server, that's why I suggested you to try performing sequential tests instead of parallel.

Thanks
