Surebackup - Test only some VMs from a job

I am using per-job deduplication, so I have grouped a bunch of my VMs together. One of our groups is the VMs powering our DMZ (3 hosts). I want to do a surebackup job on the SQL server in this job, but I can't figure out a way to only choose a VM in the surebackup settings. I can choose by job, and in advanced... I can pick per VM, I guess? But it won't let me continue just choosing a VM. The documentation for veeam doesn't describe what the point of the advanced options are for, since it looks the exact same, except for VMs, but you still must choose a job. Can anyone explain this further?

Additionally, is there any way to see the output of the surebackup verification scripts? I can run them manually from the console using the same parameters, and I see output... but just receiving a code is not always helpful.
