ODBC connection to VEEAM Database

Post by spoiledindy »

Hello everyone, I am very new to VEEAM and in need of some help or advise. What I am trying to do is capture backup information (node details, tape information, datadomain information, mount if data getting backed up etc) from VEEAM to a repository, which will be used later for reporting purposes. I am thinking of creating an ODBC connection to VEEAM database, As it contains pretty much all information I need. Anyone can help me how to achieve this? Or any other alternative solutions to achieve this task.

Thank you...

Hi and welcome to the community!

Veeam database is not supposed to be accessed by anyone but support team engineers. I suggest you to take a look at existing reporting tools designed specifically for Veeam:

1. VeeamONE - an official tool designed by Veeam. FREE version is available.
2. My Veeam Report - a powershell-based report designed by a fellow user.

Thanks
