Snapshot cleanup

Post by Daveyd »

Looking through some of the vmkernel logs on a couple of ESX hosts I see some of the following messages: Mar 27 22:17:24 ESX02 vmkernel: 20:07:40:33.688 cpu4:12009)DevFS: 2370: Unable to find device: 37aacbc7-VM1-000002-delta.vmdk

Since noone else has created any manual snapshots, is this a result of Veeam not cleaning up the snapshots properly?

Veeam is completely not involved in performing snapshot cleanup, this process is handled solely and exclusively by ESX host. I have provided very detailed description of the process before, please search the forum for more information if interested. Thanks.
