Customized VM storage report
hello everyone,
I have searched the forum for an hour now and couldn't find a solution for my problem (maybe its too simple for you guys )
I want to create a report which tells me the total virtual disk size per VM for specific VMs.
Thats working so far with a 'Custom Infrastructure' Report with custom filter for the VM names I need.
But is there a way to sum alle selected VMs up at the end of the Report? It should look like this:
NAME; Virtual Disk: Size Total (GB)
ServerA; 10
ServerB; 20
Sum; 30
Thanks in advance for you help!

Re: Customized VM storage report
Hello Arne and welcome to the community!
Do you mean guest disk free space?
There is same for Hyper-V.

Re: Customized VM storage report
Hi Shestakov and thank you
I don't need the report for used guest disk space - we need to calculate the storage each our customers has been allocated in the report.
For example one of our customers has 3 VMWare Vms with each 100GB Storage allocated. We want to have an automatic report which shows the 3 VMs with each 100GB and at the bottom the sum of 300GB.
Is this possible?

Re: Customized VM storage report
Got it, thanks.
Custom Infrastrucure report doesn't no sum ups as it works with different kinds of data and simple addition doesn't fit all values.
I would save the report in .xlsx format and get the sum there.
Thanks!

Re: Customized VM storage report
Ok thank you - than I will do the extra step in excel.
Or does any other report sums the storage up for a business object or something similar?

Re: Customized VM storage report
Custom Performance are the only custom reports with sum ups. Custom Infrastrucure doesn't have such an option.
I will count your feedback as a feature request to add it in next versions.
Thanks!
