VMware VSAN 6.7

Post by SamYok1 »

Hi,

I've been referred to this forum by Veeam support to try and find out if the next patch will provide support for VMware VSAN 6.7. When can I roughly expect this?

I believe 3a currently still does not support the latest VMware VSAN

Thanks guys,

I asked support and they said it is not supported:

Hello,
Support for VSAN 6.7 is still pending, as it`s not mentioned in the release notes.

Hello,
Unfortunately we do not have any ETA for this.
Best would be to ask our Development team on our forum ( https://forums.veeam.com/) as they might be able to shed more light if it`s planed in the next release which should be close to the end of the year.

Ah, OK. They probably meant "certification", as support was included in Update 3a.

"Support" means Veeam will support you if you're using VSAN 6.7.
"Certification" means VMware officially OKs our implementation.
