Error: No such host is known
Good day!
I'm testing VAW and Veeam B&R for 2 months now and happy with it.
I installed VAW on 1 vm and run a backup job from there with Veeam B&R drive as repository. This scenario works fine.
Now i want to add another backup job for another vm and I wan't it to be managed by Veeam B&R now.
I added this vm to Backup Infrastructure -> Managed Servers. I created another repository for this job. But running the job always resulted to "Error: No such host is know" error.
What else did I missed?
Windows firewall are both disabled on the vm where VAW is installed and on Veeam B&R server.

Hey!
You should install a paid agent license into Veeam B&R Server in order to enable all Agent Management features.
Also, there is no need in adding the source VM into Managed Servers, you need to use protection groups for VMs that you plan to backup. Thanks!

Hello,
I also tested adding to protection group with the same result.
We're already in the process of purchasing our first 5 VAW license. We need 3 quotes, just waiting for the last one.
Right now I'm using NFR license to test VAW full features.

Yes, the Agent NFR license allows you to use agent management features.
It's hard to troubleshoot through the forum, you can contact the support team and share the logs, that is the most effective way to find the real cause of the issue. Thanks!
