Does vPower slow B&R down a lot?

Post by smoore33 »

I've just updated to B&R Essentials 9.5U3a and installed vPower for the first time. I'm doing a repository rescan and it's taken over 2 hours so far...much longer than typical, as I remember. Does vPower slow B&R down a lot? Also, were running Essentials. It looks like some (many? all?) of the features that use vPower do not run on Essentials. Is there any valid reason for installing vPower on Essentials? If not, how do I uninstall it. It just finished at 2:15 hours. Don't' have time for a ticket just now, will try to soon.

Hi Steve,

Veeam vPower NFS Service should not affect rescan performance and I bet you'll need it later for Instant VM recovery. How much data you have on repository you are re scanning? Thanks.
