How to remove expired trial licenses

Post by GLM »

Hi all,

Each time the Veaam B&R console starts I got these two consecutive warnings:

Your Veeam Agent for Windows trial license has expired
Your Veeam Agent for Linux trial license has expired.

How to remove the expired trial licenses in order to avoid these annoying warnings?

Than you in advance.

a shot in the dark: remove the agent from your B&R Devices.
So they are not managed anymore.
Or uninstall the agents.

Removing the agent(s) does not remove the expired license(s)

Licenses has been removed succesfuly by running the following commands, as described in the KB article:

Veeam.Backup.Manager.exe -removelicense vaw
Veeam.Backup.Manager.exe -removelicense val

Luckyly, all VAW and VAL licenses were trial licenses, as license type (perpetual, trial, etc) cannot be specified.

Thank you!

It would be easier to have a command like: remove all expired trial licenses or remove all trial licenses (non expired, too).
Also this should be done from GUI. After its expired you should be able to select: remove.
Is there any reason why expired trial licenses aren't removed automatically?
