Feature request: schedule job to run after itself?

Post by bdufour »

love the option to schedule a job to run after another job. but i dont see that i can select a job to run after itself? is there a reason for that? i totally could be missing something here. it would be very helpful, bc i could have a job running again immediately after it finishes.

hmm i see the option right above that - called periodically. i do a see a 'continuous' option listed in the drop down. can someone confirm if that would run the job again immediately after it finishes?

answered my question. this can be ignored.

Jobs Run Continuously

You can schedule the job to run continuously — that is, in a non-stop manner. A new session of a continuously running job starts as soon as the previous job session completes. Continuously run jobs can help you implement near-continuous data protection (near-CDP) for the most critical applications installed on VMs.
