Replication Guestion

Post by jamerson »

Dear all,
We are replicating host1 to host 2.
host 1 has 2 disks which are spanned to one partition. 2x4TB to 8TB.
So host 2 has two disks of 4TB as well,
the configuration is to replicate disk 1 to disk 1 on the second host , and the same for disk 2 on the second host.
would this works or VEEAM will think it 1 disk 8TB and cannot replicate it ?

We need to know how VEEAM will deal with the 2x4 ( 8TB )

Thank you guys.

Hi Julien, could you please clarify the scenario, since I find it a bit confusing. Do you want to replicate a VM that has two VMDK disks (spanned inside the guest OS into a single volume) to another ESXi host and place these VMDK's on different datastores?

Thanks, then you can select datastores for each disk individually.
