Loading updated agent on distribution server

Does anyone know how you load the most recent agent update onto the distribution server so it can be pushed out to the protection groups?

OK. Do I have to upgrade the B&R server to 9.5 Update 3a so that it can see that VAW 2.2.0.589 is available?

Latest version of backup server is fully compatible with the latest agent version, so this is the correct way of upgrading your backup agents. Please keep in mind that if you agents are running together with CBT driver agent hist must be rebooted during upgrade. Cheers!

Just for clarification, I'm currently running Update 3. To get the new VAW for distribution, I'll have to upgrade to Update 3a? For the non-managed VAW installs, will I need Update 3a or will VAW 2.2 work OK with base Update 3?

Yes, to upgrade agents controlled by backup server you must update Veeam B&R server to the latest version.

For standalone agents (manually configured) update can be performed manually on the client side via regular agent setup.
