Veeam Management Agent on RDS Hosts

Post by melon »

Hi,

I've just started using Veeam Cloud Connect to backup my VMs offsite. I have installed the VCC Management Agent on my servers so I can manage everything from the VCC web console. I'm using Veeam Agent for Windows, this all works fine. But on my Remote Desktop Session Host servers the management agent is continuously prompting users with administrator prompt.

I have checked the compatibility of the application to ensure it was not set to run as administrator, I have also tried to run the service as a specific user but to no avail.

Has anyone come across this issue and know of a solution to run this in RDSH.

Regards
Paul

Hello Paul,

Can you please clarify is that a Windows account prompt or management agent account prompt? Is it possible to share the screenshot? Thanks!

Hi,

Also, you can try to shutdown/disconnect the server and check whether it stops to prompt the credentials. Thanks!

Hi Dima P,

It is a windows UAC prompt. I'm just trying ti figure out why it is running for every user on the RDS servers.

Sorry not seeing any options to upload or attach screenshots.
