Hi, I'm testing Instant Recovery without disk redirection and I noticed on my ESX server this Task/Event:
"Create NAS Datastore"
I just want to make sure I don't end up overwriting or formatting my ESX volumes, so wondering where this NAS datastore is being created?
Thank you,
Chad

Re: Instant Recovery and "Create NAS Datastore"
Chad,
This is an expected event, which is triggered when we mount vPower NFS datastore to selected ESX host. Please review our sticky FAQ topic for additional information. There is no way that vPower NFS datastore can affect your existing datastores, just like it is impossible to affect your existing datastores by adding new (additional) one to your ESX with vSphere client.
Thanks.

Excellent! As usual, Veeam has things nicely segmented, it's good to hear there is nothing to worry about.

Chad
