GFS - Tape

Hi,

I have 1 Media Pool (GFS) for 2 Tape Jobs

- Fileserver
- Imagedata

For each Tape Job, Veeam should take new Tapes so i dont have mixed Backups on Tape. Is it possible with the sam Media Pool?

In simple media pools you can create a new media set for every backup session; in GFS pools this option isn't available unfortunately.
You could try the tape job option "Export current media set upon job completion", which should close the media set; but Veeam will also try to move the used tapes to your mailslots (if you have any).

Uncheck "append backups files to incomplete tapes" in advanced settings of GFS media pools, and you're good to go. Thanks.
