"--highpriority" option

Post by dnut »

Veeam agent for linux v2.0.1.665

Hello,
I'm trying to understand what does the option --highpriority (veeamconfig job start "option") means.

What happens if I include it?
What happens if I omit it?
Are there any sub-option to control priority directly from veeamconfig?

I cant find anything in the documentation or the man

Thank you

Hi,

If you want to control job priorities you can adjust these parameters in /etc/veeam/veeam.ini:

Code: Select all

# IO rate limit, from 0.01 to 1.0
# ioRateLimit= 0.9

# CPU priority for veeamagents, from 0 to 19
# priority= 10
The key you are asking about was used fro scheduled jobs only in the previous version and is likely to be deprecated soon.

Thanks!
